School-level athletes across Kottayam are taking part in district-level competitions as part of Kerala’s 2026 school sports programme. The state school sports platform includes events such as athletics, football, cricket, tennis, chess, cross country, water polo and kalaripayattu, providing opportunities for young athletes to compete and progress to higher levels.
