Vaikom Mahadeva Temple
Vaikom Mahadeva Temple is one of Kerala’s most revered Shiva temples and a major pilgrimage centre in Kottayam district. The temple is famous for the annual Vaikkath Ashtami celebrations and its distinctive traditional Kerala architecture. Vaikom is also known for its connection with the historic Vaikom Satyagraha.
